How to Prepare for IIT JAM 2018?

IIT JAM is an online test that is conducted on a rotational basis by Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). IIT Bombay is conducting Joint Admission Test for M.Sc programmes (JAM) in February 11, 2018. The entrance exam for admissions to the PG programmes in science across IITs, NITs and IISc Bangalore is competitive yet can be cracked by aspirants like you with a proper strategy and good preparation. Candidates need to begin JAM preparation 2018 soon after they have applied for the M.Sc entrance exam. The preparation tips of JAM 2018 brought to aspirants will further help in knowing success strategy of the toppers, their study-plan and books they followed for JAM. The JAM preparation tips also guides candidates in planning specifically for their individual test papers among the seven being offered in the IIT administered M.Sc admission test.

JAM 2018 Preparation begins with checking syllabus, books, preparation timetable and practice through mock tests.

JAM Preparation 2018: Syllabus

Candidates will need to go through JAM Syllabus 2018 before they begin their preparation for JAM. The syllabus of JAM 2018 will help them in knowing important topics and understanding them thoroughly. The other reason to look for the syllabus before JAM preparation is that doing so will help them in segregating the topics into easy, difficult and special attention categories. It is also advisable to check JAM syllabus topics that are the most important and feature more questions than the others. The idea is to know the syllabus in a thorough manner such that studying for JAM 2018 can go in a planned and phased way such that each topic is covered properly during JAM preparation mode.

JAM Preparation 2018: Books

The second step is to know which books are the best to study from. The graduation books are good enough but it has been commonly observed that books available for the entrance exams like JAM aid students in preparing well for the topics. Moreover, guide books for JAM are recommended by the toppers and experts as they know the topics that may come in the M.Sc admission test from the examination view point. Further the JAM books recommended by exam toppers and experts may serve as good repository for the knowledge and cracking the Joint Admission Test.

JAM Preparation 2018: Time Table

Indeed time table is very much need for JAM preparation. The time table for JAM 2018 preparation schedule will help aspirants in jotting down the important topics and subjects that should be covered within a defined time-frame. Further sticking to the time table for JAM preparation will also help candidates in giving sufficient time to ‘the much needed subjects’ and also skip those which may not need much time. A proper time-table may also help in planning the other JAM 2018 preparation related activities. Besides drawing a JAM study-plan for daily and weekly, candidates will also need a preparation time table of next three months, six months and moreover a last month preparation one. JAM experts and toppers advise that following such a routine study plan help the candidates more than those who neglect them as quirky. The most important point in JAM preparation is sticking to what has been planned.
